Lester had a troubled childhood. Dead parents, arson, and foster care. He keeps the details unclear deliberately. With incredible aim comes incredibly rich men paying for hitmen. He's always gotten off to trying to kill Daredevil a la Wile E. Coyote and roadrunner. He was recruited to join the Thunderbolts, working for the good guys for a time. He was also part of the Dark Avengers run by Norman Osborn as their Hawkeye. Usually it takes some incentive to get him to do someone's bidding. He acts like an idiot, but he's good at what he does and knows a lot about human anatomy. Lester has been paralyzed long term a couple of times which could have had a deteriorating effect on his sanity. He does have a touch of schizophrenia, a handful antisocial personality disorder, and for a more palatable version, Netflix's Bullseye is more your speed: antipsychotic
